The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Bangalore Centre has released ISI Bangalore Recruitment 2026 for 4 contractual posts — Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Part-Time Consultant (Legal) and Hindi Translator-cum-Typist. • Part-Time Consultant (Legal): Law degree with minimum 10 years' legal practice or 5 years' Government legal experience

• Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Hindi Translator-cum-Typist: Preferably below 45 years
• Part-Time Consultant (Legal): Maximum 62 years
• Age relaxation may be considered for outstanding candidates with relevant experience

• Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience for the respective Engineer posts
• Law degree with 10 years' legal practice or 5 years' Government legal experience for the Part-Time Consultant (Legal) post
• Relevant qualification and typing proficiency for the Hindi Translator-cum-Typist post
• Engineers and Translator preferably below 45 years; Legal Consultant maximum 62 years
• Positions are purely contractual, initially for one year and extendable based on performance
