The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, Govt. of India, has released the ISRO Recruitment 2026 Notification (Advt No. ISRO:ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026) through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) for 242 vacancies of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Stenographer posts across various ISRO Centres, Units, and Autonomous Bodies. ISRO Recruitment 2026 is among the most prestigious central government job opportunities for graduates this year, offering placement at India's premier space research organisation and future growth under the Department of Space. As of July 2026, the online application will open from 27 July 2026. Selected candidates will be posted as Assistants, JPAs, UDCs, or Stenographers at various ISRO Centres across India including VSSC (Thiruvananthapuram), ISAC (Bengaluru), SAC (Ahmedabad), NRSC (Hyderabad), LPSC (Bengaluru), and other units. The ISRO 2026 selection process consists of a Computer-Based Written Test (CBT), followed by a Skill Test / Stenography Test for JPA and Stenographer posts only, and final Document Verification. The salary for ISRO Assistant / JPA / UDC / Stenographer 2026 is Level 4 of the 7th Pay Commission with a minimum basic pay of ₹25,500 per month plus DA, HRA, Transport Allowance and all other central government benefits. Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale. For Junior Personal Assistant (JPA) / Stenographer: Graduation with 60% OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with 60% marks along with one year of experience as Steno Typist/Stenographer, English Stenography speed of 60 WPM, and computer proficiency. Computer proficiency (typing and basic applications) mandatory for all posts. Knowledge of Hindi preferred.

Maximum 28 years as on 16 August 2026.
