Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1, 3 & 5): Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognised university, completed within the stipulated course duration, plus proficiency in computer use. Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6): Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 (within stipulated duration), OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with the same marks criteria plus 1 year's experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer, plus a minimum speed of 60 words per minute in English Stenography and proficiency in computer use. Apprenticeship Training Certificate under BOAT/NATS for DCP/DCCP holders is considered equivalent to 1 year's Steno-Typist experience. Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Level 4 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, minimum basic pay ₹25,500 per month, plus DA, HRA, and Transport Allowance as per Central Government rules. Governed by the New Pension Scheme.
