• Medical Officer / Assistant Commandant (115 posts): MBBS degree from a recognized university with valid medical registration

• Medical Officer: Maximum 30 years
• Specialist / Super Specialist Medical Officer: Maximum 40 to 50 years depending on post

• Super Specialist Medical Officer: Super speciality medical qualification per ITBP rules
• Specialist Medical Officer: MBBS with relevant Post Graduate Medical qualification

• Age 30 to 50 years depending on post
