Konkan Railway KRCL Recruitment 2026 — 201 Posts (JE, ALP, Station Master & More), Apply Online (Maharashtra/Goa/Karnataka)

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released Employment Notification No. CO/P-R/02/2026, dated 31 July 2026, inviting applications for 201 Non-Executive vacancies across 12 posts in the Civil, Signal & Telecommunication, Operating, Electrical, Mechanical and Commercial departments. This is a major railway recruitment drive for Junior Engineer, Assistant Loco Pilot, Station Master, Goods Train Manager and Track Maintainer posts across KRCL's area of operation spanning Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka. Recruitment follows a defined preference order — Land Loser candidates get first preference, followed by Employment Exchange-registered candidates along the Konkan Railway route, then general domiciles of Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka and serving KRCL employees. • Junior Engineer (Civil): 3-year Diploma or equivalent Degree in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution
• Track Maintainer: 10th Pass from a recognised board
• Senior Section Engineer (S&T): 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Communication Engineering/Computer Science, or M.Sc. Electronics, from an AICTE-approved institution
• ESTM-III: Matriculation + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Wireman, or Matriculation + CCAA in the same trades, or 10+2 with Physics and Maths
• Section Controller / Station Master / Goods Train Manager / Commercial Supervisor: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University
• Assistant Loco Pilot: Matriculation + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in specified electrical/mechanical trades, or Matriculation + 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering
• Senior Section Engineer (Mechanical): 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial/Instrumentation & Control/Automobile/Production Engineering, from an AICTE-approved institution
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical): 3-year Diploma in the same Mechanical-stream disciplines, from an AICTE-approved institution
• Technician-III (Mechanical): Matriculation + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in Fitter/Mechanic Diesel/Welder/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic and related trades

• Group 'C' posts (all except Track Maintainer): 18 to 36 years
• Track Maintainer (erstwhile Group 'D'): 18 to 45 years
• Age reckoned as on 01-08-2026
• Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10–15 years depending on category, Ex-Servicemen and serving KRCL employees as per rules

• Land Loser candidates whose land was acquired for the Konkan Railway Line between Roha (Maharashtra) and Thokur (Karnataka), or their spouse/children/grandchildren
• Employment Exchange-registered candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka along the Konkan Railway route (Raigad, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Goa, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada)
• Other candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka
• Serving KRCL employees with at least 3 years of regular service
• Track Maintainer recruitment is restricted to Land Loser candidates only
• Age 18–36 years for Group C posts, 18–45 years for Track Maintainer, as on 01-08-2026

• UR / OBC-NCL / General: ₹1,180 (₹1,000 + 18% GST) plus payment gateway charges, per examination
• SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Female / Minorities / EBC / PwBD: Fee refunded (minus bank charges) upon appearing in the CBT

• Senior Section Engineer (S&T/Mechanical): Level 7, Initial Pay ₹44,900
• Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical), Section Controller, Station Master, Commercial Supervisor: Level 6, Initial Pay ₹35,400
• Goods Train Manager: Level 5, Initial Pay ₹29,200
• Technician-III, ESTM-III, Assistant Loco Pilot: Level 2, Initial Pay ₹19,900
• Track Maintainer: Level 1, Initial Pay ₹18,000
• As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix, plus allowances
