Eligibility

  • Indian nationals with 10th pass plus an ITI in the matching trade for ITI-based seats
  • 10th pass freshers for Crane Operator Overhead and Forger & Heat Treater; 8th pass freshers for Rigger
  • Minimum age 14 years (non-hazardous trades) or 18 years (hazardous trades) as on 12 April 2027; no upper age limit
  • Name, date of birth and father's name on Aadhaar must match the 10th (or 8th) certificate
  • Not eligible: those currently undergoing apprenticeship, or within three months of ending a contract (no gap required for women)
  • Not eligible: those who have already completed two apprenticeships
  • 3% horizontal reservation for PwBD (minimum 40% disability) and 3% for children of armed forces personnel and ex-servicemen
  • SC, ST and OBC reservation as per the Apprentices Act, 1961
