NCLT Recruitment 2026 — Court Officer, Stenographer, Private Secretary, Clerk & More (100+ Posts)

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has released a recruitment notification for 100+ posts including Court Officer, Stenographer, Private Secretary, Staff Car Driver, Clerk and other support staff across its benches in India. The last date to apply is 30 July 2026. Most posts are filled through deputation from officers serving in Central/State Government, UTs, Courts, or Tribunals. NCLT is India's quasi-judicial body responsible for adjudicating company law matters including insolvency proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 and corporate restructuring under the Companies Act 2013. Working with NCLT offers exposure to high-profile corporate and insolvency matters in a central government tribunal environment. Eligible government officers must apply through proper channel — application should be routed through their current ministry or department head and forwarded to NCLT along with ACR/APARs, vigilance clearance, and cadre clearance. As per deputation norms — generally below 56 years at the time of application

• Officers of Central/State Government / UT / Courts / Tribunals holding analogous posts on regular basis
• Must meet the pay level requirement as specified post-wise in the official notification
• No vigilance/disciplinary proceedings pending
• Age below 56 years at the time of application
• Must have minimum qualifying service as per post requirements

No fee — deputation-based recruitment

Pay as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 2 to Level 13 depending on post. Joint Registrar — Level 12 (₹78,800–₹2,09,200); Deputy Registrar — Level 11 (₹67,700–₹2,08,700); Assistant Registrar — Level 10 (₹56,100–₹1,77,500); Court Officer — Level 8 (₹47,600–₹1,51,100); Private Secretary — Level 8 (₹47,600–₹1,51,100); Senior Legal Assistant — Level 7 (₹44,900–₹1,42,400); Assistant — Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400); Stenographer Grade-I/PA — Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400); Cashier — Level 5 (₹29,200–₹92,300); Record Assistant/UDC — Level 4 (₹25,500–₹81,100); Staff Car Driver — Level 2 (₹19,900–₹63,200). Selected officers on deputation draw their last pay in parent cadre plus applicable Deputation Allowance as per DoPT O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17 June 2010, as amended from time to time.
