NLC India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is out. NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, has released notifications under Advertisement Nos. L&DC/02/2026 and L&DC/03/2026 for 1,235 apprenticeship training slots at Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. The slots cover Trade/ITI, Engineering Graduate, Non-Engineering Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, split into 875 slots under the PAP (Project Affected Persons) category and 360 slots under the Employees/Contract Workmen category. This is a large PSU apprenticeship opportunity in Tamil Nadu for ITI, diploma and degree holders. Selected apprentices undergo a 12-month training programme with a monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,000 for Trade/ITI apprentices up to ₹15,028 for Engineering Graduate and Nursing/Pharmacist Graduate apprentices, with ₹12,524 for Non-Engineering Graduate and Technician Diploma apprentices. Selection is merit-based on the marks of the qualifying examination, with no written test, and reservation applies as per the Apprentices Act and applicable rules. The NLC India Apprentice 2026 online application is available from 29 July 2026 to 11 August 2026 (5:00 PM) through the NLCIL apprenticeship portal at web.nlcindia.in. PAP candidates must submit documents for their PAP Certificate by 07 August 2026. The tentative display of selected candidates is on 24 August 2026, with tentative joining from 26 August 2026. • Minimum age 18 years as per the Apprentices Act
• Slots split into PAP category (875) and Employees/Contract Workmen category (360)
• Selection is merit-based on qualifying examination marks; no written test
