Overview
Oil India Limited (OIL) has released its Consultant (Land & Coordination) Recruitment 2026 notification for 1 post. Is OIL Consultant (Land & Coordination) Recruitment 2026 out? Yes, Advertisement No. HRAQ/CONT-EX-B/26-305 is officially live, and eligible candidates can apply via email until 18 September 2026. Oil India Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, is recruiting for a highly experienced Consultant to handle land-related matters and coordination functions. This is a senior retired-official recruitment: candidates must have retired from the post of Deputy General Manager (Grade F), Gazetted Officer, or an equivalent post from OIL or from any other Government/PSU/Private sector organisation, with a minimum of 30 years of working experience, of which at least 10 years must have been specifically in dealing with land-related matters. Selected candidates will draw a monthly consultancy fee of Rs. 1,50,000, reflecting the seniority and specialised land-management expertise this role demands. Selection is based entirely on Personal Interaction with the Selection Committee, with no written examination stage. No application fee is charged for this senior consultancy engagement. Eligible retired senior officials can apply by sending their complete application via email to the address specified in the official notification, with the last date set for 18 September 2026. OIL Consultant (Land & Coordination) Recruitment 2026 offers a valuable post-retirement engagement opportunity for senior land-management professionals to continue contributing their institutional expertise to India's oil and gas sector. Additional context: Oil India Limited, one of India's premier upstream oil and gas exploration and production companies, requires extensive land acquisition and coordination expertise given the nature of its exploration, drilling, and pipeline infrastructure operations across multiple states. Land-related matters at a company of OIL's scale involve navigating complex acquisition processes, compensation negotiations, local community coordination, and regulatory compliance across diverse state land laws. Engaging a retired senior official with three decades of experience, including a specific decade in land matters, reflects OIL's need for deep institutional knowledge and negotiation experience that is typically built only over a long public sector or PSU career. This consultancy role offers a retired Deputy General Manager-level professional the opportunity to continue applying that expertise in an advisory capacity.
