The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released Advt. No. IIE-46/2025/5919/OSSC for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B and Group-C Specialist Posts (CGLRE Specialist-2025) with 199 vacancies across 16 specialist posts in various Odisha Government departments. Largest cadres: Food Safety Officer (84 posts), Librarian in DIETs/BIETs (30), Assistant Embankment Inspector (23), Laboratory Assistant (20), and Senior Economic Investigator (16). 52 posts are reserved for women. This is Odisha's biggest specialist graduate-level recruitment for 2026. Selection through three stages — Preliminary Examination (150 marks, Objective MCQ, negative marking 0.25), Main Written Examination (200 marks, Technical/Subject-specific, negative marking 0.5), and Computer Skill Test (qualifying) followed by Certificate Verification. State cadre postings across Odisha. Odia language proficiency is MANDATORY — candidates must have passed Odia at Middle School/Matriculation/Class-VII level.

Salary
Group-B Posts (Food Safety Officer, Librarian, Computer Programmer etc.): Pay Matrix Level-9 of ORSP 2017 (~₹35,400 entry). Group-C Posts: Level-4 to Level-8 depending on post.
