Qualification

  • Medical Officer: A medical qualification included in Schedule I/II or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956; registration with the State Medical Council; special training in Family Planning & Educational methods; preference to a postgraduate degree/diploma in the relevant speciality
  • Computer Programmer: Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematics (with Statistics)/Operation Research/Physics, or a degree in Engineering/Computer Science, plus 1 year's programming experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (with Statistics)/Physics/Statistics plus 7 years' computer operation experience including actual programming
  • Pharmacist Grade-II: Matriculation + Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution/board; must be a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
  • Library Attendant Grade-I: Matric with Science; Diploma in Library Science; 1 year's experience handling books & journals in a library of repute
  • Animal Attendant: Matriculation or equivalent; ability to read and write in Hindi/English/Punjabi; knowledge of cleaning & dusting
  • Barber: Matriculation, with at least 2 years' experience in the line
  • Multi Tasking Staff (Sanitation) Grade-III: Matriculation or equivalent; knowledge of sweeping, dusting, and cleaning

  • Pharmacist Grade-II, Library Attendant Grade-I, Animal Attendant, Barber, Multi Tasking Staff (Sanitation) Grade-III: 18–30 years

  • Multi Tasking Staff (Sanitation) Grade-III: Desirable — 1 year's experience in sweeping/dusting/cleaning in a Civil/Military Hospital, good hostel, or government department
  • Diplomas/degrees via Open and Distance Learning are accepted only if UGC-recognised for the relevant period
