PIHMCT Assistant Lecturer Recruitment 2026 — 3 Posts, Apply Offline by 25 Oct (Puducherry)

Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (PIHMCT) has officially released the Assistant Lecturer Recruitment 2026 notification for 3 vacancies. Eligible candidates up to 35 years of age, with a Post Graduate degree in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA, along with a full-time degree/diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts with at least 55% marks and NHTET qualification, can apply offline up to 25 October 2026. • Post Graduate in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute, plus Full Time Degree or three-year Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts with minimum 55% marks from an NCHMCT/AICTE/State Board/UGC recognized institute, plus NHTET qualified with the prescribed percentage conducted by NCHMCT
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Administration with not less than 55% marks and 2 years' hospitality industry experience
• OR PhD in Hospitality-related subjects (exempts NHTET)

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years, as on 01-07-2026
• Age relaxation as per government norms will be applicable for other categories

• Post Graduate in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute
• Full Time Degree or three-year Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts with minimum 55% marks from an NCHMCT/AICTE/State Board/UGC recognized institute
• NHTET qualified with the prescribed percentage conducted by NCHMCT
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Administration with not less than 55% marks and 2 years' hospitality industry experience
• PhD in Hospitality-related subjects exempts the NHTET requirement
• Maximum age limit of 35 years as on 01-07-2026, with relaxation as per government norms for other categories
• This is a contractual appointment; the notification does not specify a fixed tenure
