2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website — OTR from the earlier website will not work
3. Log in and fill out the SSC CHSL 2026 online application form
4. Opt for Aadhaar-based authentication during OTR, if desired, to simplify photo/ID requirements at the exam venue
5. Upload the required details and capture your photograph as per the instructions in the application module
6. Pay the application fee online (if applicable to your category) before 08 October 2026
7. Select up to three exam centres in order of priority
8. Review all details carefully before final submission
