STPI Junior Hindi Translator Recruitment 2026 — 9 Posts, Apply by 07 Sep

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has released Employment Notice No. 2(1)/I/STPI-HQ/2026-27 for 9 Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) posts through Direct Recruitment. The vacancies are reserved as 6 UR, 2 OBC and 1 SC. STPI runs 73 centres across India, and selected candidates are liable to be posted at any of them. The post carries Pay Matrix Level 6 (₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400) under the 7th Central Pay Commission, with an initial two-year probation. Selection is through a written examination in two papers — Paper-I is objective (General Hindi and General English, 200 marks, with 0.25 negative marking) and Paper-II is descriptive (translation passages and essays, 200 marks). Final merit gives 50% weightage to Paper-I and 100% to Paper-II. The examination is held at Delhi/NCR and Bengaluru centres, tentatively in October–November 2026. • Master's degree from a recognised university in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject or medium at degree level, or in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or medium, or an equivalent combination as detailed in the notification
• AND a recognised Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa, OR two years' translation experience in a Central/State Government office or Government of India Undertaking

• Maximum 30 years as on 07 September 2026
• Government servants: up to 5 years relaxation
• SC/ST/OBC/PwD: as per prevailing Government of India instructions

• 9 Junior Hindi Translator posts: 6 UR, 2 OBC, 1 SC
• Master's degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a subject/medium at degree level, or an equivalent combination per the notification
• Plus a translation Diploma/Certificate or two years' Government translation experience
• Maximum age 30 years as on 07 September 2026, with category relaxations
• NOC required for candidates working in Government/PSU/autonomous bodies
• OBC candidates must submit a non-creamy-layer certificate
