UPSC Recruitment 2026 — 40 Agricultural Engineer, Scientist & Medical Posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Indicative Advertisement No. 09/2026 for 40 vacancies across 12 posts, filled through Direct Recruitment by Selection. • Agricultural Engineer: Degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years' relevant experience
• Medical Officer / Research Officer (Unani): Degree in Unani Medicine with Central/State Register enrolment
• Scientist B (Botany / Environmental Science / Geology / Physics / Zoology): Master's in the discipline with 3 years' research experience
• Civilian Medical Officer: MBBS with completed rotating internship
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor: MBBS with relevant PG degree/diploma and 3 years' teaching experience
• Assistant Industrial Adviser: Engineering degree with 3 years' steel/plant experience
• Veterinary Assistant Surgeon: BVSc & AH degree with Veterinary Council registration
