Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters, Western Region, Mumbai, has released AAI Western Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. 03/08/2026/APPRENTICE (Graduate/Diploma)/WR for 36 government job vacancies. This is a Maharashtra govt jobs 2026 opportunity for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices, open to domiciles of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and the Union Territory of Diu residing near the listed Western Region airport locations. Selected apprentices will undergo one year of structured apprenticeship training at various airports under AAI's Western Region for training year 2026-27, gaining hands-on exposure to airport operations and engineering functions. The selection process for AAI WR Apprentice 2026 is merit-based shortlisting on marks in the qualifying examination, followed by an interview and document verification, medical fitness certification, and police verification. Graduate Apprentices receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 and Diploma Apprentices receive ₹12,000, both inclusive of the Government share, with no application fee for any category. Graduate Apprentice: full-time regular four-year Degree in Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institution in the relevant discipline, or a degree in any stream with computer knowledge for HR Graduate Apprentice. Diploma Apprentice: full-time regular three-year Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline from an AICTE-recognised institution. Engagement is under the Apprentices Act, 1961/2014/2025 for training year 2026-27.

• Age: 18 to 26 years as on 31 July 2026
• SC/ST — 5 years relaxation; OBC — 3 years relaxation
• Candidate must be domiciled in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or the UT of Diu and reside near the relevant Western Region airport location
• No prior work experience required
