Territorial Army 137 CETF Rally 2026 — 74 Posts, Prayagraj 16–21 Nov

The Territorial Army 137 CETF Battalion Recruitment Rally 2026 will be held at Prayagraj from 16 to 21 November 2026 for 74 posts. The 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (TA) of the 39 Gorkha Rifles, which carries out ecological restoration work under a Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) project, is enrolling 4 Junior Commissioned Officers (GD), 61 Soldiers (General Duty) and 9 Soldier tradesmen, including Clerk (SD), Dresser, Chef Community, Housekeeper, Washerman, Tailor and Steward. This is a re-employment drive, not a fresh-entry recruitment: only pension-holding ex-servicemen and ex-women employees of the MoEF&CC or State Forest Departments, within 5 years of retirement, can attend. JCOs can be up to 55 years old and Other Ranks up to 50, all in medical category SHAPE-1. Enrolled personnel draw basic pay of their rank plus Dearness Allowance and admissible allowances for a 2-year term, extendable a year at a time, but get no annual increment or extra pension for CETF service. Selection includes screening and physical tests, a trade or proficiency test, an interview by a Board of Officers and a medical examination. There is no online application. Eligible candidates must report at 7:00 AM on 16 November 2026 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with their original discharge book, Pension Payment Order (PPO), eight passport-size colour photographs, character certificate, education certificate and domicile certificate. Mobile phones are not allowed at the rally ground, and no food or accommodation is provided.

• Ex-women employees of the MoEF&CC or State Forest Departments, including premature retirees, with at least 20 years of service as applicable
• Enrolment must be within 5 years of retirement

• Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) GD: up to 55 years
• Other Ranks (Soldier GD and Tradesmen): up to 50 years

• Ex-servicemen holding a pension (non-pensioners are not eligible)
• Ex-women employees, including premature retirees, of the MoEF&CC or State Forest Departments
• Enrolment within 5 years of retirement
• Age: up to 55 years for JCO (GD) and up to 50 years for Other Ranks
• Medical category SHAPE-1
• Character: Exemplary or Very Good
• Physical standard (men): height 160 cm (152 cm for Gorkhas, Garhwalis and Assamese), weight 50 kg, chest 82 cm with 5 cm expansion
• Physical standard (ex-women employees): height 150 cm, weight 42 kg, chest expansion of 5 cm
• Physical tests for men: 1-mile run, pull-ups, 8-foot ditch and zigzag balance beam

• No application or rally fee is mentioned

• JCO and Soldiers: basic pay of the rank and service group plus Dearness Allowance, as admissible in the Territorial Army
• Allowances: Children Education Allowance, Hill Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance and Road Mileage Allowance as admissible
• No annual increment and no additional pension or gratuity for CETF service; existing service pension is not affected
• Enrolment for 2 years, extendable by 1 year at a time subject to performance and project continuation

1. Check the 137 CETF Battalion (TA) rally notice and confirm you are a pension-holding ex-serviceman or an eligible ex-woman forest employee
2. Confirm you are within 5 years of retirement and within the age limit (55 for JCO, 50 for Other Ranks)
3. Arrange your original discharge book and Pension Payment Order (PPO)
4. Get a character certificate from your village Sarpanch or police authority
5. Keep your education certificate and domicile certificate ready
6. Get eight recent passport-size colour photographs
7. Make sure no document is altered or overwritten
8. Report at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh at 7:00 AM on 16 November 2026
9. Leave your mobile phone behind and arrange your own food and stay, as none is provided
10. Take part in the screening, physical, trade and medical tests held from 16 to 21 November 2026
