BEL Project Engineer Recruitment 2026 — Walk-in for 14 Posts

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Panchkula, a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released the Project Engineer Recruitment 2026 for 14 temporary vacancies to be posted across Rajasthan and Gujarat. This is a walk-in selection drive requiring mandatory online pre-registration before appearing. Candidates holding a B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electronics or Computer Science-related disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience, are eligible. Selected Project Engineers will be posted at BEL project sites in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) and Jamnagar, Bhuj, Naliya (Gujarat), supporting IT infrastructure, IP networking, data centre, CCTV or IoT-based projects. The selection process consists of a written test followed by an interview, with candidates shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio by category based on written test merit. The consolidated remuneration for Project Engineer 2026 starts at ₹40,000 per month in the first year, rising to ₹55,000 per month by the fourth year, along with area allowance and a retention bonus for candidates completing 4 years of tenure. Engineering (4-year course) with Pass Class from an AICTE-approved college/institute or recognised university, in Electronics stream (Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Communication/Electrical & Electronics) or Computer Science stream (Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Science)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience as on 01 July 2026, preferably in IT Infrastructure, IP Networking, Data Centre, CCTV or Sensor-based IoT projects
• Candidates assessed under CGPA/credit system must attach the university's official conversion formula

• Upper age limit 32 years (General) as on 01 July 2026
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• PwBD (40% disability or more): 10 years relaxation, in addition to other applicable category relaxation
• Maximum permissible age after all relaxations: 50 years

• B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering (4-year course), Pass Class, from an AICTE-approved institute, in Electronics or Computer Science related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience as on 01 July 2026 (teaching experience not considered relevant)
• Age up to 32 years (General) as on 01 July 2026, with relaxation for OBC-NCL (3 years), SC/ST (5 years) and PwBD (10 years), subject to a maximum of 50 years
• Trainee Engineers/Project Engineers/Field Operation Engineers currently serving in BEL are not eligible to reapply for the same post
• Candidates from PSU/Government/Quasi-Government organisations must produce a No Objection Certificate at the interview stage

• Project Engineer-I: ₹400 + 18% GST, payable via SBI Collect only

• PE-I (1st year): ₹40,000 per month consolidated
• PE-II (2nd year): ₹45,000 per month consolidated
• PE-III (3rd year): ₹50,000 per month consolidated
• PE-IV (4th year): ₹55,000 per month consolidated
• Area allowance of 10% of consolidated remuneration for candidates posted at site/customer locations
• ₹12,000 per year for insurance, attire and footwear allowance
• Retention Bonus of ₹25,000 per completed year after 4 years of tenure (total ₹1,00,000)

4. Download and fill the Bio-Data application form appended to the advertisement
5. Arrange all required original documents plus one self-attested photocopy set, including educational certificates, experience certificates, category certificate and NOC (if applicable)
6. Check the BEL website on or before 7 August 2026 for the confirmed venue intimation at Jodhpur
7. Report to the venue by 08:00 AM on the selection date (entry closes at 08:30 AM) — confirm the exact date via the official website first
8. Appear for the written test, followed by the interview if shortlisted based on merit
