DESIGNTD/-DESIGNATED/2022/2, dated 16 September 2026) inviting online applications for 210 Technician (Vocational)/Trade Apprentice seats under the Apprentices Act, 1961. CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 covers 205 ITI Trade Apprentice seats across 16 trades — Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Pipe Fitter/Plumber, Marine Fitter and more — plus 5 Technician (Vocational) Apprentice seats across 5 disciplines. Candidates aged 18 years or above, holding a 10th pass plus ITI (NTC) in a notified trade, or VHSE pass in the relevant discipline, and domiciled in Kerala, can apply online at cochinshipyard.in from 16 September 2026. Selected apprentices will undergo one year of hands-on apprenticeship training at CSL's Kochi facility, gaining practical shipbuilding and allied-trade experience under the Apprentices Act framework. ₹11,000 per month (stipend, during 1-year apprenticeship training)

2. Complete Phase 1: One-time Registration on CSL's SAP E-recruitment portal.
3. Complete Phase 2: Submit the application against your chosen trade/vocation — you may submit only one application, and it is final once submitted.
4. Upload certificates proving age, educational qualification, caste, disability (if applicable), an Equivalency Certificate (if claiming equivalent qualification), and a recent passport-size colour photograph.
5. Double-check that all entered marks exactly match your mark sheets — any discrepancy leads to summary rejection with no changes allowed after submission.
6. Submit the application between 16 September 2026 and 8 October 2026, well before the deadline, since technical support may not be available after 4:00 PM on the last date.
7. Retain the soft copy/printout with your unique registration number, generated only upon successful submission, for future correspondence.
8. Watch your registered email and the CSL website for the certificate verification call letter — it will not be sent by post.
9. At certificate verification, carry a signed printout of the application (with registration number) plus originals and self-attested copies of all certificates.
