DRDO CFEES JRF Recruitment 2026 — 9 Posts, Walk-in 4 & 5 August (Delhi)

The Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety (CFEES), a laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, has announced DRDO CFEES JRF Recruitment 2026 for 9 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts. The vacancies are distributed across five engineering disciplines — Chemical Engineering (4), Mechanical Engineering (2), Civil Engineering (1), Electronics Engineering (1) and Computer Engineering (1) — offering engineering graduates a fellowship-based research role in a Ministry of Defence laboratory working on fire, explosive and environment safety for defence applications. Eligibility for DRDO CFEES JRF 2026 requires a B.E./B.Tech in the respective discipline in First Division along with a valid NET or GATE qualification, and the maximum age is 28 years as on the date of interview, with relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Selected Junior Research Fellows receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000 plus House Rent Allowance as per DRDO norms, and there is no application fee for any category.
