IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment Rally 2026 — Intake 01/2027, Nagaland & A&N Islands, 31 Aug–07 Sep

Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited unmarried male and female candidates for an Open Recruitment Rally to join as Agniveervayu (Other Than Science Subjects) under Intake 01/2027. This is an All India defence jobs 2026 opportunity restricted by domicile — candidates from the North-Eastern states and Sikkim can appear at Chumoukedima, Nagaland, while candidates from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands can appear at Sri Vijaya Puram. Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009, holding 10+2/Vocational/Diploma qualifications with minimum 50% marks, are eligible to report directly for the walk-in rally. Selected Agniveervayu will serve a 4-year engagement under the Air Force Act 1950, undergoing document verification, Physical Fitness Test, a written test, two Adaptability Tests, and a medical examination — all conducted over the rally days at the venue. The customised Agniveer package starts at ₹30,000 per month in the first year, rising to ₹40,000 by the fourth year, split between an in-hand component and a matched Corpus Fund contribution, plus Risk & Hardship, Dress, and Travel allowances. On completion of the engagement, Agniveervayu receive a one-time Seva Nidhi payout of approximately ₹10.04 lakh. Eligible candidates must report to their applicable rally venue on the scheduled reporting date — 01 September 2026 for women, 04 September 2026 for men at Chumoukedima; 01 September 2026 for women, 03 September 2026 for men at Sri Vijaya Puram — by the 10 AM cut-off time. There is no online application; candidates must carry all original documents and photocopies as specified in the official notification. • Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in any stream from a recognised Board, with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR

• Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/IT) from a recognised Polytechnic, with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English

• No application fee for the rally itself
• ₹40 fee applies only for Appeal Medical Board (AMB) request if declared medically unfit

• Year 1: ₹30,000/month (₹21,000 in-hand + ₹9,000 Corpus Fund)
• Year 2: ₹33,000/month; Year 3: ₹36,500/month; Year 4: ₹40,000/month
• Plus Risk & Hardship, Dress and Travel allowances, ration, clothing, accommodation, LTC
• Seva Nidhi (terminal benefit) of approximately ₹10.04 lakh on completing 4-year engagement
• Non-contributory Life Insurance cover of ₹48 lakh during engagement

1. Confirm eligibility for date of birth, marital status, qualification, domicile, and medical standards
2. Report to the applicable rally venue (Chumoukedima or Sri Vijaya Puram) on your scheduled reporting date, by the 10 AM cut-off
3. Carry original matriculation and 10+2/Diploma/Vocational certificates plus 4 self-attested photocopies each
4. Carry original Domicile Certificate or applicable COAFP certificate, plus photocopies
5. Bring 10 recent unattested passport-size colour photographs and stationery (HB pencil, eraser, glue stick, stapler, pens)
6. Complete the Consent Form for Physical Fitness and Medical Tests before reporting
7. Undergo document verification, Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, and Adaptability Tests I & II at the venue
8. Attend Medical Examination in September 2026 at Jorhat or Sri Vijaya Puram as applicable
9. Check iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in for the Provisional Select List (tentatively 14 Nov 2026) and Enrolment List (tentatively 01 Dec 2026)
10. Provide an active email ID and mobile number for all CASB communication until enrolment
