IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment Rally 2026 — Intake 01/2027, Nagaland & A&N Islands, 31 Aug

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited unmarried male and female candidates to an Open Recruitment Rally for Agniveervayu (Other Than Science Subjects), Intake 01/2027, to be held at Chumoukedima (Nagaland) and Sri Vijaya Puram (Andaman & Nicobar Islands). This is a domicile-specific defence recruitment rally, open only to candidates from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim (for the Chumoukedima venue), or the Andaman & Nicobar Islands (for the Sri Vijaya Puram venue). Selected Agniveervayu will serve a 4-year engagement under the Air Force Act 1950. Selection involves document verification, a Physical Fitness Test, a written test in English and Reasoning & General Awareness, two Adaptability Tests, and a medical examination — all conducted directly at the rally venue rather than through a separate online exam. The salary starts at ₹30,000 per month in the first year, rising to ₹40,000 by the fourth year, with a terminal Seva Nidhi payout of approximately ₹10.04 lakh on completion of service. This is a walk-in Open Recruitment Rally, not an online application process. The rally runs from 31 August to 07 September 2026, with separate reporting dates for women and men at each venue. • Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in any stream from a recognised Education Board, with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English

No fee for the rally; ₹40 fee applies only for Appeal Medical Board requests

1. Confirm eligibility for date of birth, marital status, qualification, domicile, and medical standards
2. Report to the applicable rally venue — Chumoukedima (Nagaland) or Sri Vijaya Puram (A&N Islands) — on your scheduled reporting date (separate dates for women and men)
3. Arrive by the 10 AM cut-off time on your reporting date
4. Carry all original educational certificates, Domicile Certificate, and other required documents along with photocopies
5. Bring ten un-attested passport-size colour photographs as specified in the notification
6. Complete the Consent Form for Physical Fitness Test and Medical Tests
7. Undergo document verification followed by the Physical Fitness Test
8. Complete the Written Test, Adaptability Test-I, and Adaptability Test-II
9. Attend the Medical Examination at the designated centre (Jorhat or Sri Vijaya Puram) in September 2026
