Indian Army AFMS BSc Nursing Admission 2026 — 220 Seats MNS Course, Apply Online by 31 Jul (All India)

The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), Indian Army has released the admission notification for the four-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) Nursing Course 2026 at six Colleges of Nursing under the Military Nursing Service (MNS). A total of 220 seats are available across all six AFMS Colleges of Nursing. Female Indian citizens who have qualified the NEET (UG) 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to apply. Online registration for Indian Army AFMS BSc Nursing Admission 2026 is open from 20 July 2026 to 31 July 2026 exclusively on the official Join Indian Army website at joinindianarmy.nic.in. Selected candidates for the AFMS BSc Nursing 2026 programme will be trained as officers in the Military Nursing Service (MNS) and upon successful completion of the four-year course, will be granted a Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission in the Indian Army. The AFMS BSc Nursing selection process consists of multiple stages: NEET (UG) 2026 score-based shortlisting, followed by a Computer-Based Test of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview, and Medical Examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called to Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt for the screening process. The last date to apply for Indian Army AFMS BSc Nursing Admission 2026 is 31 July 2026. Eligible female candidates — unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or widowed without encumbrances — who qualify NEET (UG) 2026 and fall within the age group born between 01 October 2001 and 30 September 2009 must register online at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The application fee is ₹200 for General/OBC/EWS candidates; SC/ST candidates are exempted. Candidates should apply immediately as the window closes on 31 July 2026.

Valid NEET (UG) 2026 score mandatory for eligibility. Candidates appearing in 10+2 final year exam at the time of application may apply provisionally subject to passing the qualifying examination.

Selected candidates will be trained as officers in the Military Nursing Service (MNS) and granted Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission on successful completion of the 4-year BSc Nursing course. Pay and allowances as per 7th Pay Commission Military Service Pay + DA + HRA + Military Service Allowances applicable to MNS officers.
