Indian Army TGC-144 2026 — Technical Graduate Course, January 2027 (30 Posts)

The Indian Army has released the notification for the 144th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-144) commencing January 2027 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, offering Permanent Commission to 30 unmarried male engineering graduates. Stream-wise vacancies: Civil (8), Mechanical (6), Computer Science (6), Electronics (6), Electrical (2), and Miscellaneous (2). Selected candidates undergo approximately 12 months of pre-commission training at IMA and are commissioned as Lieutenants. Selection is based on academic profile shortlisting, SSB Interview, and Medical Examination. No application fee.

B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering stream — Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics, or Miscellaneous (AICTE-approved); final-year students may apply (proof of passing by 01 Jan 2027)

20–27 years as on 01 January 2027 (born between 02 January 2000 and 01 January 2007); unmarried males only

• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in the relevant engineering stream from an AICTE-approved institution.
• Final-year candidates may apply, but must submit proof of passing by 01 January 2027.
• Age 20–27 years as on 01 January 2027 (born between 02 Jan 2000 and 01 Jan 2007).
• Unmarried male Indian citizens only.
• Cannot marry during the training period.
