Overview

The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried men and women for Permanent Commissioned Officer posts in Technical Branches under the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme — January 2027 Course. A total of 60 vacancies are available (30 Mechanical Engineering + 30 Electronics & Communication Engineering). Selected candidates will undergo a 4-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala. Selection is based on JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List, SSB Interview, and Medical Examination. No application fee.

10+2 with at least 70% in PCM + 50% in English (Class X or XII) + must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 for B.E./B.Tech

Born between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both inclusive); unmarried men and women only

  • Unmarried men and women (Indian citizens).
  • Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
  • At least 50% marks in English (in Class X or Class XII).
  • Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 for B.E./B.Tech.
  • Date of birth between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both inclusive).
