IndianOil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, Northern Region, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, has released Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for 433 seats. This PSU job opportunity spans Technician, Trade (ITI), Graduate, and Data Entry Operator apprenticeships across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Selected apprentices will undergo a 12-month apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, engaging in technical and administrative functions across IOCL's Northern Region marketing operations. Selection is purely merit-based on qualifying marks — there is no written test or interview — followed by document verification and a pre-engagement medical fitness test. Stipend is paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 norms, with an additional ₹2,500 per month from IOCL towards miscellaneous expenses. • Technician Apprentice (Discipline Codes 101-106): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics Engineering, minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD reserved positions)
• Trade Apprentice/ITI (Discipline Codes 107-111): Matriculation with 2-year ITI (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist) recognised by NCVT/SCVT
• Graduate Apprentice (Discipline Code 112): Regular full-time graduate in any discipline, minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD reserved positions)
• Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator Fresher (Discipline Code 113): Class 12th pass
• Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator Skill Holder (Discipline Code 114): Class 12th pass plus Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator

• General/UR/EWS: 18 to 24 years (as on 31 Aug 2026)
• OBC-NCL: up to 27 years (3-year relaxation, for reserved posts)
• SC/ST: up to 29 years (5-year relaxation, for reserved posts)
• PwBD: 10 to 15 years' additional relaxation depending on category

• Post-specific qualification from Class X with ITI to Graduate degree, depending on discipline code
• Age 18-24 years as on 31 August 2026, with category-wise relaxation
• Candidates with higher professional qualifications (B.E./MBA/MCA/CA/ICWA/LLB) not eligible
• Candidates who have already completed 5 years post-qualification in the discipline not eligible
• Can apply for only ONE discipline code
