Overview
National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), under the Ministry of Railways, has released the notification for 209 Deputy Engineer (DE) and Junior Engineer (JE) posts in Civil, Electrical, and Signal & Telecom disciplines for India's prestigious Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) project. NHSRCL is executing India's first bullet train corridor — a 508 km high-speed railway between Mumbai and Ahmedabad with a design speed of 350 km/h. Selected engineers will work on one of India's most ambitious infrastructure projects, gaining world-class experience in high-speed rail technology (Japanese Shinkansen). Postings at project offices along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor (Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Delhi HQ). Selection through online examination and/or interview. Applications close 14 July 2026.
Eligibility
* Deputy Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Electronics/S&T Engineering with 60% marks + 2-4 years experience in relevant infrastructure/railway projects.
* Junior Engineer: 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering with 60% marks + 2 years experience, OR B.E./B.Tech freshers.
* Age: DE up to 35, JE up to 30 (relaxation per rules).
* Indian citizen.

Salary
Deputy Engineer: ₹50,000–₹1,60,000 (IDA pay scale) + DA + HRA + Perks. Junior Engineer: ₹30,000–₹1,20,000 (IDA) + allowances. CTC approximately ₹10–₹15 lakh/year for JE, ₹15–₹25 lakh/year for DE.
