RRC South Central Railway GDCE 2026 — 33 Posts, Apply by 17 Oct

Railway Recruitment Cell, South Central Railway (RRC-SCR), Secunderabad, has released GDCE Notification No. RRC/SCR/GDCE-02/2026 for 33 posts through the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) — an internal promotion route restricted to serving regular/permanent employees of the erstwhile South Central Railway (including BZA, GTL, GNT Divisions and RYPS, TPYS workshops), excluding RPF/RPSF, Law Assistants and Catering Supervisors. This is not open recruitment for outside candidates; eligible employees can apply online at scr.indianrailways.gov.in from 17 September 2026, 17:00 Hrs, to 17 October 2026, 23:59 Hrs. Posts on offer under RRC-SCR GDCE 2026 are Nursing Superintendent (14, Level-7), Health & Malaria Inspector Gr. II (3, Level-6), and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk/CCTC (16, Level-3). Eligible employees must be working in a grade pay/level lower than the notified post and cannot apply for the post they currently hold. The selection process is a Single Stage Computer Based Test with 1/3rd negative marking, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination — there is no interview, and minimum qualifying marks are 40% (UR), 30% (OBC/SC) and 25% (ST).
