RRB Group D (CEN 09/2025) is one of India's BIGGEST railway recruitment drives with 22,195 vacancies. The CBT exam begins from 03 August 2026. Preparation Strategy — Mathematics
Week 1-2: Foundation (Easy topics) Master Number System, BODMAS, Average, LCM/HCF. These are FREE marks — solve 30 questions daily. Use NCERT Class 9-10 Math textbook.
Week 3-4: Core Arithmetic (Medium topics) Focus on Percentage → Profit/Loss → Ratio → Time/Work → Time/Distance. These 5 topics cover 42% of Math section. Practice R.S. Aggarwal Arithmetic.
Week 5-6: Geometry & DI (Hard topics) Memorize formulas for Area, Volume, Surface Area of basic shapes. Practice Trigonometry ratios (sin, cos, tan for 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°). Solve 3 DI sets daily.

Preparation Strategy — Reasoning
Most scoring section — 30 marks, mostly pattern-based!
Practice 3 topics daily. Analogy + Series + Classification = 12 questions (40% of section). Master these FIRST.
Non-Verbal Reasoning (Mirror Image, Paper Folding, Embedded Figures) = 5-6 questions. These are purely visual — practice 10 daily and you'll never get them wrong.
Blood Relations and Direction Sense = 4 questions. Draw family trees and compass diagrams. Don't try to solve in your head.

RRB Group D is the EASIEST railway exam to crack. The CBT cut-off is low (40-45 for General), the syllabus is 10th standard level, and there are 22,195 vacancies — more than most SSC exams combined.
The real challenge is PET, not CBT. Start running and weight training from Day 1. A fit body is your best preparation tool for this exam.
