Southern Railway Scouts & Guides Quota 2026 — 17 Posts, Apply Online by 18 Oct

Railway Recruitment Cell, Chennai, has released Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2026 under Employment Notice No. RRC-01/S&G/2026-27 for 17 posts — 14 in Southern Railway (2 Level 2, 12 Level 1) and 3 in Integral Coach Factory (1 Level 2, 2 Level 1). This quota is open only to candidates meeting specific Scouts and Guides credentials — President's Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge holder, 5 years' active membership, and participation at National/State-level events — alongside educational qualifications from Class 10 to Class 12/ITI/NCVT depending on the level. Candidates aged 18 to 38 years (category- and level-specific) can apply online at sr.indianrailways.gov.in from 19 September 2026, 9:00 AM, to 18 October 2026, 11:59 PM. 6. Upload the prescribed photograph (recent, in Scouts/Guides uniform, JPG/JPEG, 3.5cm x 3.5cm, 50-100 KB) and signature (black ink on white paper, JPG/JPEG, 10-40 KB).
7. Upload supporting certificates — Scouts and Guides qualification, Certificate of Activeness, educational certificates, and category/relaxation certificates where applicable.
8. Pay the applicable examination fee through the online payment gateway.
9. Review the application carefully and submit it before 18 October 2026, 11:59 PM.
10. Save or print the submitted application and payment receipt; submit a separate application and fee if applying for both Level 1 and Level 2.
